The Gibsons Pigs men's rugby club returned to the pitch in style on Saturday, picking up a win at home. On Saturday, the Pigs edged Ridge Meadows 15-7 at Cougar Field. With the win, Gibsons improved its second half record to 2-2.

The Chatelech Eagles' hopes for a top eight finish at the 2005 AA boys' high school basketball championships were dashed Wednesday morning.

The Midget House C1 squad will play for the playoff banner on Saturday in Squamish. The local squad finished the playoff round with a 6-1 win over Whistler last Sunday at home to finish on top in the round-robin playoff, one point ahead of Hollyburn.

Sunday was another super day for junior rugby and the Gibsons Pigs. Gibsons started slow against the Capilanos U16 squad that came to the Coast on Sunday, but Gibsons pulled out their second win in as many weeks 33-31.
