Youth make the grade at summer school

Young hockey stars got a jump on the competition last week at the Sunshine Coast Arena. The inaugural Sunshine Coast Hockey School was a huge success according to organizers who are already setting their sights on next year.

The Sunshine Coast Arena was full of speed demons last weekend. The Pacific Blades kicked off its inaugural speed skating season on the Sunshine Coast with a summer skills camp. In all, 38 skaters from age six to 56 took part in the two-day camp.
