The senior and juvenile boys' basketball teams from Elphinstone and Chatelech saw their seasons come to a close this week.

The Elphinstone bantam girls ended their season with a flourish Feb. 1 by edging Don Ross Secondary in Brackendale (Squamish) 34-30.

The Gibsons Curling Club has been rocking the past few weekends with a pair of major bonspiels. The mixed bonspiel was held Jan. 28 to 30 and featured 19 teams, six from off-Coast.
