Adult hockey league attracts a load of summer players
The Sunshine Coast Adult Hockey League (SCAHL) recently completed a series of summer drop-in ice slots through the month of August. Over the series, the league had 182 skaters and six goalies come out over seven ice times through the month of August.

Blue Ocean Golf Club in Sechelt held its 2021 Club Championship on Aug. 21 and 22. The weather cooperated, and although Sunday was cool and breezy, the players stayed dry. Twenty-eight contestants teed it up in four flights for the annual event.
