Dry grad gets funds

A total of $9,981 was raised for Dry Grad activities on the Coast through sales at BC Liquor Stores during their 2012 fundraising campaign. The money will help fund two Dry Grad activities at Elphinstone Secondary School.

RCMP investigating fatal collision

An 89-year-old Sechelt man was killed when his mobility scooter collided with a pick-up truck in Sechelt last Friday night. On May 25, Sunshine Coast RCMP responded to the accident at the intersection of Cowrie Street and Ocean Avenue.

The BC Cancer Agency has issued a letter to physicians and their patients who might be affected by faulty rectal paddle devices used during radiation therapy treatment of some patients with cancer of the cervix between November 2007 and April 2012.
