Calling all gun owners

Anyone wanting to get rid of guns or ammunition can turn them in to police this month without fear of criminal charges. The Sunshine Coast RCMP are participating in the province-wide gun amnesty to remove and destroy weapons from the community.

SDBA to present new proposal

The Sechelt Downtown Business Association (SDBA) will be at the next Sechelt council meeting June 7 to propose going back to their old business improvement area (BIA), which they hope Sechelt businesses will again support.
