A crop circle experience

Almost everyone is fascinated with the ornate complexity of crop circles, and there are many theories as to their origin.

Almost everyone is fascinated with the ornate complexity of crop circles, and there are many theories as to their origin. Photographs of crop circles will be presented in a non-judgmental manner as Aleatora presents A Crop Circle Experience next Friday and Saturday March 23 and 24 at the Sunshine Coast Arts Centre in Sechelt. The following Saturday, March 31, the show travels to the Copper Sky Gallery in Madeira Park.

A Crop Circle Exper-ience is an enchanting and intuitive presentation of crop circles like you've never heard them before. Aleatora, consisting of Barry Taylor (percussion) and Chris Bernetchez (winds), will provide live aural accompaniment to the crop circle photography of Chad Deetken, an eminent researcher and photographer in the field. Opening all three evenings will be the Mbira duo of Manjambira performing to their own slideshow of African imagery. Yummy treats by Trish will be at the Arts Centre shows and Copper Sky Café delights in Madeira Park.

Tickets for all the shows will be $10 at the door. They may be reserved in advance online, as seating is limited at all venues. Doors will be at 7 with the show at 8 p.m. Reservations and a short preview of A Crop Circle Experience can be found at www.aleatora.org.
