Angela Kroning spoke at the November Elphinstone Community Association (ECA) meeting about Streamkeepers and made us aware of the significant problems on Chaster Creek due to over-development.

Friday da 29th at the Legion RC, yo! It’s Fly Female MC Friday! Drip Drop It Like Hip Hop will be showcasing females in hip hop. Ndidi Cascade, founder of the Word, Sound and Power and Elementalz education programs, is currently touring B.C.

Merry Christmas! The sixth annual Breakfast with Santa will be held on Dec. 14. The fun goes from 9.30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Halfmoon Bay Community School.

Serendipity Christmas Craft Fair is this Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 30 and Dec. 1, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day at The Hall. Shop the 26 tables of handmade items and delightful goodies.

Roberts Creek

Want to get involved in your community? Here’s your chance. The Roberts Creek Official Community Plan Committee (OCPC) will be holding elections for committee members on Wednesday, Nov. 27 at 7:30 p.m. at Roberts Creek Hall.

The Roberts Creek Community Association received a major donation from the Roberts Creek branch of the Sunshine Coast Healthcare Auxiliary of an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) for the Roberts Creek Hall on Nov. 12.
