Bellies and Babies teamed up with Sechelt bookstore Talewind Books to gift more than 50 books to families with young children over the holiday season, thanks to the initiative of a dedicated volunteer.

The Sunshine Coast Healthcare Auxiliary is again inviting grant applications from any organization that has charitable status or is sponsored by an organization with charitable status, to fund a worthy initiative.

The Sunshine Coast Natural History Society conducted their 42nd annual Christmas Bird Count (CBC) on 20th December, covering the area from Port Mellon to West Sechelt.
