On the most perfect day of this year, music returned to the Harbour at The Clubhouse. The warm welcome back from Mike, family and staff began a stellar afternoon of great entertainment from Dr.

I have found a few things I can talk about (and they are few these days).

Transportation Choices Sunshine Coast (TraC) is conducting a survey of residents to determine high-risk locations for cyclists and pedestrians on the Sunshine Coast requiring improvement.

On June 1, the Sechelt Public Library welcomed its patrons back for the long-awaited first day of the new Takeout Service.

Thanks to all who contacted me regarding their house wrens. Obviously a lot of people are familiar with this species, which has only become established on the Sunshine Coast in the last five years.

Thursday afternoons are busy at the Sun Creek Farm on Russell Road. The Gibsons Farm Collective brings together farmers and locavores eager to buy local, fresh produce. The day I was there, many people came and went, everyone carefully distancing.

Here is some encouraging news straight from some of our favourite places in Roberts Creek. The Community Association has this to say: “We’re excited to announce the RC Community Market will be open this Wednesday! Market hours are 1:30 to 5:30 p.m.

This Sunday live music returns to The Clubhouse at the Pender Harbour Golf Course. The fabulous Blue Line Trio with Dr. Fun, Gary Gilbert himself, will perform from 2 to 5 p.m. on the patio, weather permitting. Admission is $5.
