Cottage Farm may be a burden

Editor: As parents of a schizophrenic adult male, and as residents of the Langdale area, we value the right to have a voice in the rezoning application of ALR lands for use as a large mental health facility.

Simons responds to HST concerns

Editor: I am glad that Mike Lane ("Shame on your HST policies," Coast Reporter letters, Oct. 15) took the time to express his disgust with the HST - as did over 700,000 British Columbians. His anger at the Liberal government of B.C.

Editor: What an upstanding young citizen the Sunshine Coast has in Jared Wheldon, the 10 year old who asked his friends to bring toys and treats for homeless animals instead of birthday presents for himself, and then donated them, plus a cheque for $
Trouble in paradise: Coast's Vital Signs

Trouble in paradise: Coast's Vital Signs

After a year and a half on the Coast, I still feel that thrill rounding Mission Point into Davis Bay on my morning drive to work. Sometimes, the vista is merely pretty - a gentle bay and a soft, understated sky.
Opposed to the Neptune connector

Opposed to the Neptune connector
