With respect to the article on Persephone Brewing (“Brewery dodges bullet at SCRD planning committee,” Jan. 29) and the comment by Ian Winn that Persephone hasn’t shown respect to the community, perhaps he should crawl out from under that rock and take a good look around! It’s precisely this NIMBY attitude that discourages new business ventures on the Coast and I, for one, am now embarrassed to be in Mr. Winn’s riding.
