Editor: I am a frequent traveller on BC Ferries and I greatly appreciate the critical service it provides. However, in recent weeks, whenever I’ve arrived at Langdale in mid-to-late morning, the parking lot is always full or nearly full.

Editor: I read with extreme concern the SCRD’s plans to drill a test well into the Gibsons Aquifer (“SCRD looks to Gibsons Aquifer for groundwater,” April 27).

Editor: I am wondering why you emphatically asked the SCRD not to mess with Gibsons’ aquifer in your April 27 editorial (“SCRD risks major rupture with Gibsons”).

Editor: Never a dull moment on the Sunshine Coast! The poor old Gibsons Aquifer makes the news yet again, with the SCRD now wanting to drill into it.

Editor: The repetitive messages from those opposed to the new seniors’ residential facility are like prayers to the Patron Saint of Lost Causes.

Editor: I would like to say a very heartfelt thank you to the many kind people who pulled over to help me when I crashed my motor scooter swerving to avoid oncoming traffic around a bend in Sandy Hook on April 26.

Editor: We are west of wrong and standing strong.
