Editor: Sechelt Garden Club members have donated $500 to kick off the fundraising efforts for the Sechelt Downtown Business Association’s Periwinkle Lane Project 2021. Not able to direct funds to venue rental, events, speakers, etc.

Case counts drop after sharp rise in first half of December

Editor: I’d like to extend a huge thank you to the hydro crews for their response to the power outage on Tuesday night, Jan. 5.

Editor: I have been a cat owner/lover for a very long time. I also love birds, squirrels and all wildlife. The facts are known and recorded as to how many birds and other wildlife we lose every year to cats.

Editor: It is indeed shameful in the midst of a worldwide pandemic for CEOs in the travel sector such as our Canadian airlines and tourist firms to be using social media to encourage people to travel against the advice of our health experts.

Editor: I have written longer letters on this subject in the past so I will keep this plea short. Please, cyclists of all ages, get a bell and use it. You wear helmets to protect yourselves.

Software’s not a thing you wear, Has no substance, I declare. To wear a sock or shirt is fair, It might be soft but is not ware. Wear is warm or cool and nice, Ware is hard and cold as ice. Order this and pay for that, More control is where it’s at.
