Editor: Taxing Camp Olave will certainly be a win-win situation for the Sechelt council.

The following letter was sent to Sechelt mayor and council and forwarded to Coast Reporter. I would like to go on record as being completely in favour of Target Marine's rezoning last year and their sturgeon and caviar processing expansion plans.

My step mom, a tremendous woman, used to regularly volunteer at a soup kitchen for drop-ins in need of a warm meal. She used to say "I do it for selfish reasons - it makes me feel good.

Editor: I wish to protest most strongly against the move to tax Guide Camp Olave. If this measure goes through, there is no way the Girl Guide Association can pay this tax, and the camp will have to be sold or abandoned.

Editor: Re: Bill Forst federal NDP's choice Here we go again and already! Misinformation abounds from the NDP camp. Veniez was never a member of the Conservative Party. I know; I checked.

Editor: I walk my dog from the Sechelt Aquatic Centre, along Shorncliffe and across Highway 101 to Snickett Park at the beach two to three times a week while my daughter is swimming.

Editor: Some musings after reading your last issue. I read that the NDP have chosen Bill Forst as their candidate in the next federal election. That completes the match up for the three main parties.
