Taxing Camp Olave will certainly be a win-win situation for the Sechelt council. Either their coffers will be enriched by $128,000 per year, or the Girl Guides will be forced to sell off part of the camp to real estate developers, who will pony up even more.
But the community ultimately would lose such a splendid resource.
