Editor: Congratulations BC Ferries for another weekend of atrocious service. With sailing cutbacks, rising rates and unreliable service, BC Ferries is sucking the life blood out of all B.C. Coastal communities.

Editor: In the name of art and economy we are having our homes and private lives violated. After running a commercial business in an R1 zone, which is not the proper zoning, a local gallery has been forced to apply for rezoning.

Editor: I am scared because there is a newish zone being requested right next door to our house in Roberts Creek.

Editor: For the 25 years I have lived in Gibsons, there has been a long-standing desire across our town to support and encourage measures that augment our seaside village ambiance and fiercely oppose actions that threaten or degrade it.

Editor: As I read the letters to the editor this week, I couldn’t help agreeing with Judy Campbell that we should all “show our respect for the democratic process.
