Editor: Generally I stay out of the political fray, but I feel compelled to advise homeowners on the Sunshine Coast, and particularly in Roberts Creek, of a disturbing development.

Editor: Much has been said against BC Ferries and its operation. We chose to live here “away from the madding crowd” and we have to accept annoyances in travel from time to time — which, in many cases, are unavoidable.

Editor: In response to the West Vancouver council vote to ban the passage of LNG tankers in Howe Sound, and as the member of Parliament for West Vancouver and the rest of our magnificent riding, I disagree with the motion, the way it has been passed,

Editor: Like Wendy Gilbertson, (Coast Reporter letters, Aug. 8) I was somewhat surprised at the tone and content of the recent survey of District of Sechelt residents. Most reputable surveys identify exactly who and what the work is for.

Editor: I would like to thank you for another article about my daughter Rose in a recent edition of Coast Reporter and a special thanks to reporter Christine Wood for the continued great job of keeping the community up to date for us.
