Editor: You reported on Sept. 9 concerns from a number of Gibsons residents around the proposed affordable housing project (“Gibsons’ affordable housing plan faces opposition”).

Editor: Re: The Sunshine Coast Community Foundation and their full-page ad of Sept 9. In regards to Gordon D. Walker’s letter to the Coast Reporter (“Help the homeless,” Sept. 16), we want to make a few clarifications.

Editor: “Shake up the grey cells,” advises Cathie Roy, your former associate publisher (“New goals enhance old loves,” Sept. 16). I sure miss her. She used to shake us up every week at our Toastmasters Club in Gibsons.

Editor: Re: “Try arriving early,” Letter by Margaret Sinclair, Sept. 16. Define early? I have to get to the Lower Mainland for work. As a freelancer I can get called for work as late as the day of, on some rare occasions.
