Editor: Seeing the price of gas in Vancouver less than here on the Coast reminded me of a time when the price charged here was much lower than in Metro Vancouver. It now seems that the price of $123.9 on the Coast versus $101.

Editor: Looking at the long dark winter ahead, I decided to upgrade our family board games.

Editor: Last week my dog Sheamus and I were attacked by a Staffordshire bull terrier. Sheamus required 17 stiches on and around his ear. I had four punctures that required a visit to the ER, a tetanus shot, and antibiotics. Not our best day.

Editor: I am worried that the rise in COVID-19 infections is caused by a growing prevalence of conspiracy theories like the anti-vax people who have an incorrect theory that we will get herd immunity from COVID-19 if we just let people get sick.

Editor: Re: “Greener deal needed,” and “Reducing oil, gas is key,” Letters, Nov. 13. By all means, let’s reduce our carbon footprint. It would be wise to look at what those at the forefront are doing in that regard.
