The only way out

Editor: I am worried that the rise in COVID-19 infections is caused by a growing prevalence of conspiracy theories like the anti-vax people who have an incorrect theory that we will get herd immunity from COVID-19 if we just let people get sick.

I am worried that the rise in COVID-19 infections is caused by a growing prevalence of conspiracy theories like the anti-vax people who have an incorrect theory that we will get herd immunity from COVID-19 if we just let people get sick. Unfortunately, this could hospitalize and kill millions with no guarantee that herd immunity will result. The only way out of this horrible situation is to wash our hands, wear a mask in public and keep our distance until a vaccination is developed.
