Editor: I was privileged to take a direct role in our recent federal election – by distributing and posting lawn signs for one of the candidates – and it was a rewarding experience. However, I was also shocked and appalled.

Editor: You may have noticed recently that your server, cashier, or retail store attendant looks a little young and you’re correct in making this observation.

Editor: I write in response to the article “Community Forest set to log in Halfmoon Bay” in the Sept.

Editor: I wholeheartedly agree with letter writer Brian Carson who last week suggested that the SCRD ask BC Parks to reconsider its decision not to allow any upgrades to our infrastructure on Chapman Lake (“Enough water in Chapman”).
