Editor: For many years, I have appreciated the diversity of opinions expressed in the Coast Reporter. Each week, I know I will find open and honest debate on the editorial page and in the letters to the editor.

Editor: I’m writing to express my extreme disappointment with your editorial of Oct. 15, “Intolerance towards unvaccinated is getting toxic.

Editor: Re: “Intolerance towards unvaccinated is getting toxic,” Editorial, Oct. 15.

Editor: I want to thank you for your measured, thoughtful editorial, “Intolerance toward unvaccinated is getting toxic.” I appreciate your courage and common sense.

Editor: I realize that tastes will differ, and so on, but I could not help wondering who voted in the favourite eateries section of the People’s Choice Awards survey that appeared in the Coast Reporter of Oct.

Editor: The recent View from the Ledge column by Keith Baldrey (“Logging protests illuminate the change in B.C.’s NDP”) misses the point.

Editor: This letter was sent to Powell River-Sunshine Coast MLA Nicolas Simons. The Ministry of Labour is consulting on the future of paid sick leave in B.C. There’s only one answer: workers need 10 days of employer-paid sick leave a year.

Editor: Unless they were intended to goad local politicians and their staff to action, I just can’t understand the rationale behind Messrs.
