For many years, I have appreciated the diversity of opinions expressed in the Coast Reporter. Each week, I know I will find open and honest debate on the editorial page and in the letters to the editor. Those thought-provoking comments provide plenty of material for interesting discussions with friends and family.
Your Oct. 15 editorial (“Intolerance towards unvaccinated is getting toxic”) is certainly a case in point. Thank you for promoting the value of listening to others respectfully, rather than engaging in name-calling and put-downs.
The National Newspaper Week ad (Oct. 8, Coast Reporter) refers to celebrating “how trusted journalism sparks important conversations.”
