More than 600 cross-country bikers cycled the length of the Sunshine Coast, mostly on single track trails, last Wednesday and Thursday during Stages 5 and 6 of the annual BC Bike Race.

Hardball will be taking over Dempster field in Gibsons on Sunday for the inaugural Summer Hardball Classic. Games start at 9 a.m. and will continue until 7 p.m., in addition to a homerun derby and fastest pitch competition, to be held at noon.
