In the Sunshine Coast Minor Hockey Association’s fourth home tournament of the year, the Sunshine Coast U11A team won gold in a thrilling game against Powell River.

Sunshine Coast Skating Club presents two ice showcases March 11

The 18-year-old Sunshine Coast mountain biking star won the junior World Championship title and became a Red Bull athlete last year. March 9, she'll be at Sports BC’s 55th awards ceremony along with other top B.C. athletes.

For the second time this season, the U15A Blues captured gold. This time, the team triumphed at the Penticton Minor Hockey Tier 3 Winter Classic.

The Eagles will play the top-ranked team in the province, the Mulgrave Titans, in the North Shore league finals on Feb. 9.

The 6th Annual Sunshine Coast Loppet and Snowshoe Poker Challenge is Sunday, Feb. 12 at Dakota Ridge Winter Recreation Area.
