'She was the epitome of love, kindness, and selflessness, and her smile could light up even the darkest room.'

'Vi was pretty and personable, a natural in sales and had a varied career; Woodward’s, The Bay, Hastings Race Track and modelling for newspaper ads. She always had a job, but managed to drop everything in July so the family could spend summers near the beach on the Sunshine Coast.'

Gord was born on April 21, 1960, in Trail, B.C., to his predeceased parents, Norman and Amy Poole and spent time in Remac, Britannia, Squamish, the Sunshine Coast and finally, Campbell River.

'She will be missed by many and remembered for her kind-heartedness, beautiful smile as well as her many card playing skills which usually ended with much laughter.'

'Richard spent 20 years in the military, overseas and in Canada. His second career was in pulp and paper at the Port Mellon Mill for 20 years.'

'Dale approached life with joy and optimism. He had a dry sense of humor, loved dancing, and music from jazz to opera.'

'He was well known as the “Volkswagen guy” and fixed many a Westfalia, including our own family ’72, ’74 and ’81 Westy’s.  Many knew of Dad’s great sense of humour or may have faced the wrath of his "grumpy old Scotsman" side but one thing we’ll all miss, was his burly, loud and infectious laugh.'

'He was happiest when he was flying. A talented mechanic, designer and machinist, he gave unselfishly and generously of his time, talent and wisdom to help others fulfil their dreams. '
