'Vita Zenia Simpson, of Sechelt BC, was 102 when she passed away peacefully on June 27 after a very full life.'

'Mum lived in Sechelt for 20+ years enjoying lawn bowling, curling, gardening, walking, chair yoga and volunteering for various organizations. After she moved to Christenson Village, she enrolled in the art classes, offered weekly and produced some beautiful paintings.'

'In 1991 Shirley and Ken moved to Gibsons, BC. The west coast climate combined with Shirley's love for plants and flowers, brought her garden to life. She took great pride in her flowers as well as harvesting and sharing that which came from her vegetable garden.'

'Andy also enjoyed fishing, hunting, building wooden furniture, and spending time with family. He loved eating salmon and fish head soup and had a healthy routine of going for a walk with his dog every morning, always sporting a nice clean pair of Nike’s.'

'As an adult Greg loved mountain sports such as skiing, rock climbing, mountain biking, and snowmobiling. Greg was a self-taught and talented artist and painted many oil paintings, and was a lively conversationalist who could entertain all with his wit and sense of humour.'

'Dave enjoyed life to the fullest; reading, hiking and visiting with neighbours.'

'After he retired, Cliff turned to his new passion, boat building. His first project was building a tug boat. The Trader Vic still plies the waters off the Sunshine Coast. Cliff also built his pride and joy, the Genie II. He not only built the boat but made all the hardware and fasteners by hand. Glenna and Cliff spent many happy times on the Genie II over the years; fishing and exploring the expansive BC Coastline.'
