Obituary: Paul Douglas Gauci

'Paul was a keen storyteller and maintained his great sense of humour until his passing.'

December 31, 1925 - September 16, 2023

Sadly, a long-time resident of Granthams Landing has passed away. Our Grandpa Paul was a kind and generous man, active in the community over many years. Paul was a veteran of the Korean War. After retiring from the Army in 1971, he worked for BC Ferries at the Langdale Terminal for 20 years.

He leaves to mourn, his son Brian Gauci and partner Donna, his stepson Ralph North and his wife Peggy and their family, his stepdaughter Sharon North, dear friends and extended family, Jack and Kim Leighton and their family to whom he became Papa Paul. Paul was predeceased by his parents George and Madge Gauci, his stepfather Harry Juby and his sister Margaret Mitchell.

Paul was a keen storyteller and maintained his great sense of humour until his passing.

The families would like to thank the nurses and staff at Home Support, Sechelt Hospital and Totem Lodge for taking such great care of Paul.

We miss you more than words can say. Rest in peace Grandpa Paul, Papa Paul.
