The Sunshine Coast Emergency program issued a public safety advisory Friday afternoon (Jan. 15) urging the public to use caution around creeks and streams following this week's heavy rains.

Sunshine Coast RCMP reported the following for Jan. 4 to 11: Early on Jan. 4, a thief broke into a business in the 5600 block of Cowrie Street. Entry was gained through a small rear window after the thief pried off the security bars.
