The inaugural Dreams Unlimited Wedding Show took place Sunday at High Beam Dreams in Gibsons. About 100 people braved the wet weather to attend, with brides travelling from as far away as Vancouver and Powell River.

The Sunshine Coast Natural History Society holds monthly bird walks/field trips for its members, and on Sunday, Sept. 15, a dozen members visited the local birding hotspots between Roberts Creek and Sechelt.
