Sunshine Coast Community Foundation is launching a new grants program inspired by its 2019 Vital Brief.

Thanks to the support and sponsorships from the community, Elphinstone Secondary Grad 2020 brought in $18,820 from their recent fundraising raffle. The draw took place on Feb.

The Sunshine Coast Museum and Archives is holding its annual Antiques and Collectables Roadshow on Saturday, Feb. 15 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Trail Bay Centre in Sechelt.

Guests at the Chocolat event at Sunnycrest Mall Feb. 8 sampled sweets from six local chocolate creators. Several other pop-up shops included cookies from Nougatine, hand-rolled pierogi from Mama Musey and flavoured alcohol from Bruinwood Distillery.

Pickleball is cancelled on Monday, Feb. 17, as the school will be closed for Family Day. It will resume regular days, Mondays and Wednesdays 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., subject to closure due to weather conditions. Check with HMBCommunity.org for updates.
