Halfmoon Bay Chatelech Community School Association will be holding their AGM in the library at Halfmoon Bay Community School, 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 28. Pickleball runs Mondays and Wednesdays 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

More than 100 community members, staff and volunteers celebrated the Sept. 28 grand opening of Sunshine Coast Community Services Society’s (SCCSS) The Family Place, in Sechelt. The grand opening celebrated the newly renovated space at 5520 Trail Ave.

Sunshine Coast Community Services (SCCS) is offering a new initiative this month – iConnect Ideas. The program is a mini-series of informal dialogue sessions around the topic of intergenerational connection.

Pender Harbour Fall Faire is this Saturday, Oct. 5 at the Hall, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be fun for everyone with a kids’ activity centre, chili cook-off, cookie decorating, music, food, arts and crafts, a vendors’ village and more.

The Halfmoon Bay Branch of the Sunshine Coast Healthcare Auxiliary will be meeting on Oct. 7 at Coopers Green Hall at 9:45 a.m., with guest Deb Chmelauskas speaking on Brain Health. New members and guests are most welcome.
