These volunteers from Totem and Shorncliffe were honoured at the annual volunteer appreciation tea hosted by Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH), held this year on April 13 at the Seaside Centre.
The event recognized and thanked dozens of volunteers with VCH who, in 2014, did things such as deliver 5,680 meals to those in need, fill over 2,300 grocery orders, help with more than 600 tax returns and make over 2,500 telephone tree calls to check in on seniors living alone.
