Kisses & Kicks

Here are your kicks and kisses for the week of August 29!

Kisses to Max of Olson Electric who worked so diligently to find a solution to our gas fireplace problem. We appreciate all his efforts and friendly demeanour.

Huge hurrah for Ashley at West Coast Logos for always delivering fantastic work!

Kisses to the lady at Hermies farm on Pratt who kindly gave my friends and me free figs as we passed by. Her generosity made our day. Thank you!

Kisses to the young man who stopped me, an elderly woman, with a big smile saying, “Excuse me, just want to give you these; it will be my good deed for the day,” and handed me a bouquet of carnations, then walked off quickly down Cowrie. Cheered me for the day.

Kisses to the Coaster Car Club for their superb organization of the Sleepy Hollow Run and Show and Shine. They are a much-needed positive diversion in these worrying times of tariffs, wars and the depressingly high cost of living. Thank you for some summer fun.

Kisses to the Trail Bay mall lottery booth lady who unexpectedly lent me money for my groceries when I’d forgotten my wallet. Your kindness made my day!

A whole bunch of kisses and hugs from Steve and Carol to the wonderful Qigong Group at Harmony Hall Seniors Centre. Your kind words and generosity really touched us.

Duck ponds full of kisses to Huey, Dewey and Louie Duck for quacking so many smiles on the Rod Run participant’s faces. You’re all rubber duck stars and you duckin’ rock!!

Gigabytes of kisses to Natasha and Pauline at the Sunnycrest Mall Telus store. Their incredible expertise is always offered with genuine patience and warmth to everyone! So grateful!

Kisses to Gunther whose memory will bring smiles and tail wags to those you’ve left behind.

Kisses to the SC Women’s Soccer executive who planned an amazing season kick-off event that was welcoming, friendly and fun! Looking forward to this season and all the new women who have chosen to play!

Kicks to the driver who endangered lives, injured me, totalled my car, and dented a parked RV. No shoulder check, no signal light. Kisses to police and Matt (Day & Nite Towing).

Eternal kisses to Silverstone care aide Colleen, who is a true angel on this Earth. The most attentive, caring, generous, all-around-awesome human being in the world. Thank you for everything. We love you!

Gratitude beyond words to Traci T at VCH home support for her impeccable care and wisdom in handling a very challenging situation over the course of many months. You are superb, full stop!
