More than 400 athletes from Grades 3 to 7 participated in the annual School District 46 track and field meet held at Elphinstone Secondary School. The meet was made possible by the generous support of the two secondary schools on May 28 and May 30.  Special thanks to Elphinstone PE teacher Owen Schutz and Chatelech PE teacher Jamie Mani for coordinating their leadership/track team helpers who ran the various events. A huge “cheer” for Sarah Mani and her concession team on a warm, exhilarating day of track at Elphinstone on May 30. Congratulations to all of our track team members and school coaches for your dedication and success!

The high jump competition was held at Chatelech two days before the main track meet, and there was plenty of talent on display from our coastal schools. Kudos to West Sechelt and Gibsons for their impressive jumping performances !
