It’s spring, and what is more exciting than the prospect of fresh local produce provided by your nearby farmers’ market?
Starting this Saturday, April 4, you will find Sechelt Farmers’ & Artisans’ Market with more than 60 vendors at the end of Cowrie Street every Saturday rain or shine from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. through to the end of September.
The Sechelt Farmers’ & Artisans’ Market is not only a great place to purchase local produce and goods, but it is a place to enjoy the day with family and friends.
“There’s no better way to strengthen your local community than to shop and eat locally,” said Market spokesperson Wendy Byhre. “By visiting the Sechelt Farmers’ & Artisans’ Market, you support our local farmers as well as businesses and community members. Also, you support yourself by providing healthy fresh food for you and your family.”
