Plant a succulent jewel box garden

Sunshine Coast Botanical Garden

Make a container of succulent plants to take home at the Sunshine Coast Botanical Garden this Tuesday, April 14 at 7 p.m., at the potting shed (enter at south gate).  Instructor Lorraine Rollerson has created hundreds of delightful containers and has been growing succulents for many years. All you need to bring is gloves — everything else, soil, plants and specially made ceramic dishes, will be provided for you to keep.

Pre-registration is required and space is limited.  Call 604-740-3969 to pay by credit card, or drop in to the Garden, 5941 Mason Road, West Sechelt during open hours (Friday to Monday 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.) to pay by cash or cheque. Cost is $40 for Botanical Garden members, $50 for non-members.

Becoming a member has many benefits, including unlimited visits to the Botanical Garden, advance notice and reduced prices for events, and discounts at most nurseries, all for as little as $15 a year. For more information, see www.coastbotanicalgarden.org
