The Women’s Connection is delighted to present “Chatting with Marjory” Oct. 10 at the School of Music. Margaret Skelley will sit down with Pender’s centenarian, Marjory Mackay, for an intimate chat about the almost 80 years she has spent living in Pender Harbour after arriving by the steamship Lady Cecilia in August 1946. Coast Cable will be taping this event for their community programming. Doors open at 9:30 a.m. Drop in $4.
Harbourside Friendship, Thursday, Oct. 12 is all about fun and games when they host their version of Family Feud 10:30 a.m. at the Hall. Stay for lunch at noon, $10 per person.

The next in the Pender Harbour Music Society’s Concert series is Sunday, Oct. 22 when Krystle Dos Santos, a two-time Western Canadian Music Award winning soul, jazz and R&B singer graces the stage at the School of Music.
