Yvonne Alice Errico passed away peacefully on January 14, 2025, in West Vancouver at the age of 96, surrounded by loved ones. Born on September 22, 1928 in Carleton Place, Ontario, Yvonne lived a life marked by dedication to her family, education, and community, leaving behind a legacy as a purveyor of wit and wisdom.

Having completed her degree at Capilano College after raising her five children, Yvonne’s passion for early childhood education led her to found Glenmore Preschool, where her sense of discipline and guidance shaped countless young minds. She also lent her poise and support to her husband Bill’s chiropractic practice, all while creating a loving home for their family.

Yvonne’s charm, impeccable style, and sharp wit endeared her to all who knew her. A devoted wife, mother, and teacher, she balanced her many roles with grace and an unshakable commitment to her family. Beyond her home, Yvonne contributed to her community as an active member of the Kinsmen Club of North Vancouver, embodying generosity and service in all she did.

She was predeceased by her husband, Bill, her children Billy (Dodie) and Janis (Ron), her son-in-law Ron, and her siblings Chip, Myrna, James, Hazel, and Evelyn. She is lovingly remembered by her children, Carolynne (Les), Naomi (Scott), and Jamie (Susan), as well as her sister Agnes Ramstead and extended family.

In honor of her extraordinary life, the family invites all who knew Yvonne to celebrate her legacy of compassion and wit by carrying her spirit forward. She will be forever cherished and profoundly missed.

The service will be held at Seaside Hotel: 130-125 Victory Ship Way, North Vancouver, on January 25th, from 2 to 5 pm.
