December 10, 1944 – June 14, 2025
Glen was a longtime resident - more than 70 years - of North Vancouver. In 2016, he moved to Sechelt.
A graduate of Windsor Senior Secondary, he went on to train as an automotive mechanic, which we, even as teenagers, knew he would. He loved this work and was good at it for the over 40 years he was on the bench.
Glen enjoyed nothing more than jumping into his truck and heading into Cariboo Chilcotin country with an assortment of friends in search of hunting and fishing adventures. This appreciation of friendship continued in later years as a faithful member of the early morning coffee group.
Glen’s wife of 40 years, Sharon, accompanied him to Sechelt. Sadly, she passed away in 2022. Glen is survived by his brother Roy, nephews Paul and Brad Cramer, Rick and Steve Foulston, and niece Jo Anne Weber.
Glen was blessed to spend his last year with his loving companion, Christina. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
Though difficult, Glen’s final days were eased by the compassionate care of the good Dr J, the hospital emergency doctors and nurses and finally, the devoted palliative care nurses at Hospice in Silverstone Care Centre.
