November 19, 1937 - November 12, 2022

It is with profound sadness the family of Andre Dube announces his passing on November 12, 2022. 

Andre was born on November 19, 1937 in St. Boniface, Quebec, one of 11 children.

Andre is survived by his dedicated wife Kathy, who remained by his side for 36 years.

Children Raymond (Andrea), Bonita (Larry), Nicole (Chris), and Erica (Nick), and grandchildren Courtney, Bryce, Justin, Hannah, Taylor, Cole, Grace and Sarah.

Andre lived a life of community service in the RCAF, RCMP Auxiliary, Roberts Creek Volunteer Fire Department and as a Journeyman Red Seal Tradesman and Instructor in Carpentry, overseeing the apprenticeship program for both the shishalh Nation and his construction business. A vast number of Coast homes bear his finger prints to this day. Andre took great pride in his trade and a legacy of quality construction.

Andre will be fondly remembered and missed by those who were lucky to know and love him.

Andre's unfortunate passing has been linked to cancer presumed to be caused by his work as a firefighter. As such, the Roberts Creek Volunteer Fire Department is hosting a Line of Duty Memorial Service at the Roberts Creek Community Hall on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at 1:30pm with a reception to follow.
