The Sunshine Coast Labour Council warmly invites the community to its annual Labour Day Community Picnic — a celebration of solidarity, community, and connection.
This is a wonderful opportunity to come together, meet old and new friends, and enjoy an afternoon of food, music, and meaningful conversation. It’s also a chance to reflect on the values that unite us and to build a more resilient community through shared experiences and collective action.
The picnic will take place on Monday, Sept. 1, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Dougall Park in Gibsons. Set-up begins at 9 a.m. for anyone who would like to come early and lend a hand.
There will be a free hot dog lunch, live entertainment, and inspiring speakers throughout the day. Everyone is welcome — bring your family, friends, and neighbours!
