The Legion is all about good food and good times.
Wednesdays is cheap beer all day and wings special starting at 4 p.m. Fish and chips Fridays at lunch and dinner with a delicious Chef’s Special too. This Friday night music is also on the menu with the first jam session from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
The Food Bank is open every second Monday from noon to 12:30 p.m. including this Monday. April 20.
The Pender Harbour Wildlife Society meets at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 21 at Pender Harbour Secondary School. Joe and Solveig Harrison will present a talk and slide show on their recent visit to Ecuador and Peru, in particular their visit to Machu Picchu. Everyone is welcome. There is no charge and refreshments will be served. The Society will hold a short meeting following the presentation and refreshments.
Harbourside Friendship meets at the Community Hall on April 23. The topic on the agenda is a probate workshop. A $10 lunch follows at noon. For more details call Cathy at 604-885-1365.
The Community Club will be holding a market and plant sale on Saturday, April 25 at the Community Hall at 10 a.m. Donations of plants are welcome and may be brought to the hall on Friday, April 24 from 1 to 3 p.m. For more information or to rent a table contact Muriel at 604-883-2609.
