The Pender Harbour Music Society presents Bob Evans and the Magic of Finger-Style Guitar, this Saturday March 21 at 7 p.m. at the School of Music.
The Pender Harbour Reading Centre Society’s annual general meeting is this Monday March 23 at 10 a.m. at the School of Music in Madeira Park.
All Reading Centre members are invited to attend. Coffee and snacks will be served.
The Food Bank is open every second Monday from noon to 12:30 p.m. The next day will be March 23. The Food Bank would like to say a big thank you to “The Bread Guy” for his generous donations.

The Computer Cafe is being offered this Tuesday, March 24 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Pender Harbour Community School. The topic will be Mailchimp eNewsletter. Learn how to use this powerful communication program to reach your audience. Class fee is $10.
Tuesdays at the PH Community School come join the Ukulele Group, from 3 to 4 p.m.
Ladies Night is at the shooting range Wednesdays from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Sechelt Rod and Gun Club. Fee is $25. Come have fun and learn the basics of shooting and gun safety.
On Wednesdays drop in for pickleball at Pender Harbour Secondary School from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
If you are bored or having nothing to do on Thursdays why not come out and see what Harbourside Friendship is all about? They would love to meet you. They meet every Thursday at 10:30 a.m. Reconnect with friends, share a laugh or two, basically just come and try it out they’re positive you’ll enjoy yourself. Come to the Community Hall on March 26 to see the “Movie of the Month” with a $10 lunch to follow.

The Green Film Series celebrates Seedy Saturday with a screening of Open Sesame: The Story of Seeds on March 26 in support of the One Straw Society and Seedy Saturday, at the Roberts Creek Hall.
For Pender and Sechelt residents, the Wood Duck Bus will bring movie goers to the film screening in Roberts Creek. The bus leaves Madeira Park EarthFair Store at 6:15 and will arrive at the Sechelt Visitors Centre at 6:45 p.m. to pick up additional riders. Admission to the film is by donation (suggested $10). For more information or to buy a season pass go to: www.greenfilms.ca. To reserve a seat on the bus call the EarthFair Store at 883-9006. A suggested donation of $5 will get you a ride on the bus. Doors open at 7 with the film starting at 7:30 p.m.
