The Welcome Beach Community Association (WBCA) hosts its annual membership drive this Saturday, April 11 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Halfmoon Bay Café.

The WBCA organize the Country Fair, Breakfast with Santa, Apple Festival, Music in the Park, a family picnic and are also very active with other social events within Halfmoon Bay. Membership in WBCA is free.

The regular meeting of the Hospital Auxiliary Halfmoon Bay Branch is this Monday April 13 at 9:45 a.m. at Cooper's Green. Visitors and new members welcome.

The Halfmoon Bay Unit of Royal Canadian Marine Search and Rescue is offering a free pleasure craft safety inspection. A volunteer crew will review your boats’ equipment in an effort to promote safe boating for you and your family this season.  For more information email: [email protected] or call 604-885-9061.

Drop in and play pickleball Wednesday nights starting at 7 p.m. at Halfmoon Bay Elementary School. Please wear workout gear, all equipment is provided. There are three courts in play, one for beginners with instruction with the other two courts following the ‘level play’ format set out by the Sunshine Coast Pickleball Association.
