This Friday, April 3 why not enjoy dinner from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Legion?
Robin Atchison will be playing his original songs for you to enjoy. After dinner stay for Brain Freeze a lively game of general trivia, with tables of one to five players. There is a $5 player entry fee. The top two tables choose from an array of not-so -trivial prizes. Bernadette Calonego is the guest quizmaster this month.
Brain Freeze Trivia takes place on the first Friday of every month and every player has a change for the end of the year draw for a beautiful hand-crafted cedar garden bench, courtesy of Jake Klassen.
Don’t forget the Roberts Creek library book sale this Saturday, April 4 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Children and teen books are also available.
This Saturday, April 4, at the Legion Walk on Dead will be featured at 9 p.m.
This six piece roots-rock band modelled in the fine tradition of collective improvisation, will surely appeal to your musical side. They also like to jam, so bring your dancing’ shoes. Admission is $5 per member and bring a guest for only $10.
This is an initial call for vendors, environmental and community organizations, volunteers and donations for the annual Earth Day celebration at the Roberts Creek Pier on Sunday, April 26 from noon to 5 p.m.
Both space is $10 to $30, environmental and community organizations free.
