This Friday, March 20, you are invited to Friday dinner and live music at the Creek Legion with multi-talented Grant Olsen playing from 6 to 7:30 p.m. with dinner served from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
The popular Friday Night Live begins at 8.
On Saturday, March 21, the Zonolites a local trio who play great danceable covers by Wagon Wheel and CCR hit the stage at the Legion at 9 p.m.
Also remember Open Jam on Tuesday, March 24 with A.D.D. from 7:30 to 11 also at the Legion.
This Saturday, March 21 Bacehedz presents “Rebirth” at the Roberts Creek Hall. This is an all-ages event starting at 9 p.m. Admission is $25, but you will get $5 off your ticket if you bring two-cans/small bag of pet food.
This event includes jungle breaks, electro, dancehall, drum and bass, deep house, glitch hop, dubstep with Delish from Powell River, Fast Molly from Vancouver and Aerion, DJ Stimz and The Funkdealer — all from the Sunshine Coast.
The Roberts Creek Library is again offering a seed library for gardeners who are taking advantage of our early spring. Seeds are free with the hope that you will share your seeds with us in the fall.
Seedy Saturday is March 28 at the Roberts Creek Hall.
There will be three amazing workshops and they are free to the public. Just show up at 9 a.m. and join the first class. All classes will be held in the Masonic Hall right next door to the Hall. The classes include: Planning a Seed Saving Garden with Leonie Croy, Who Would Have Thought with Ana Cohen-Fernandez and Squash with Denise Lagasse. All classes presented by the Live and Learn Program on One Straw Society and funded by Vancouver Health’s SMARTfund.
