University of Victoria physics and astronomy professor Chris Pritchet will be on hand at the next meeting of the Sunshine Coast chapter of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada.
His topic, Supernovae and the Mystery of Dark Energy, will be discussed next Friday, March 13 at 7:30 p.m. at the Sunshine Coast Arts Centre in Sechelt. All are invited.
In this talk Pritchet will focus on the telescopes that make this project possible, and a simple picture of how our observations measure and constrain dark energy.
