Each spring the Canadian Federation of University Women - Sunshine Coast (CFUW-SC) awards several bursaries to mature Sunshine Coast women who want to continue their post-secondary education.
Eight bursaries were awarded in 2014, for a total of $7,000.

In keeping with CFUW-SC’s 25-year-old bursary program, each candidate’s request for a bursary is reviewed by the bursary board, which considers such factors as financial need, Sunshine Coast residency, life experience and the requirements of the chosen program. To qualify, courses must be part of an accredited program that leads to a certificate, a diploma or a degree.
