Next Friday, May 17, the Sunshine Coast Golf and Country Club will be the host venue for the second benefit fundraiser for ANCA and the fourth annual International Naturally Autistic People Awards Convention and Festival set for Oct. 1 to 6 on the Sunshine Coast.

Feel like swinging to some good old honky tonk, rockabilly and classic country tunes, plus helping a wonderful cause at the same time? The barn dance is guaranteed to get y'all out on the dance floor, after a hoedown buffet meal of chicken, ribs and cornbread.

Kevin Crofton's classic country vocals and guitar are backed by Ian MacLatchie's soaring steel guitar, Andy Amanovich on bass, and Graham Walker on drums. This is the kind of music that everyone loves, so the band would love to see y'all there.

The last time the Boys played in the Creek it was hard to find a place to hitch your horse, so get your tickets for $35 at the golf club, Gypsy Cove, Peggy Sue's Gifts Boutique, Gaia's Fair Trade and Gibsons Copy Shop.

For those whose resolution is to do more dancing, there's even a line dance lesson. There will be a door prize and prizes for the best dressed western guy and gal, too. Put on your pearl button shirts, skirts and jeans and join the Country Boys for some fun.

Doors open at 5 p.m., dinner at 6, a live and silent auction at 7 and the band and dance starting at 7:30.
